Each flag with North Korea and its red star and South Korea with its yin and yang symbolism are displayed on each flag. These flags are displayed over a tank track tread as it passes over the frozen ground. The texture of this coin shows with detail the hard ground these countries battled over both above and below the 38th parallel. The dates 1950-1953 are prominently displayed illustrating the years of the Korean War.
